Couldn’t resist adding this photo because there are two media icons that I am enthralled with the presentation of … obese and pregnant! I already make facetious comments about how pregnant women are strangely popular in porn culture (oh that’s bad I know), but being obese and pregnant has to be pretty fun to photograph, OMG I am sober as I write this too… Wait… It gets worse with just two words.. Milk Maids! I have been around long enough to know that you don’t have to be pregnant in order to lactate though. The wonders of modern science! and hormone manipulation… giggidy
Well I’ll get on with it, here’s the photo:
Original quote under photo in a “digital frame” with the photo inserted into the article is “A groundbreaking new study is looking into whether obese pregnant women can control their weight and have healthy babies. (James Porter/Workbook Stock/Getty Images)”
Here is where I got the article and photo! Good one! fat and prego! Too bad about the dark pants, can’t see if she’s got the full sexy thighs or the skinny legs. I have to admit being partial to the big thighs. I love me some big thighs! Like ham hocks or big old turkey legs! MMMMMM!
Obesitay wasn’t meant for me to rant and rave in though, just get a little crazy with some of the crazy obesity imagery I find as I look around on the net. It’s not just any imagery though, it’s “mass media” conglomerate mainstream media imagery that is created to represent something. Due to the headless nature of what is being portrayed, I see a built in shame factor, and a subliminal your head here signal. After all, a picture is supposed to be worth a thousand words. In another article I looked at for research, I noticed a photo of a thin pregnant woman and her head was actually intact. So, even in the process of breeding like a good human, being obese is still a fate worthy of headlessness.
